SLC Learning Center

We offer specialized services to enhance education and support family involvement:

• Homeschool Resources: We provide essential information about resources and organize engaging field trips for homeschool families.
• Specialized Academic Support: We ensure academic needs are met with available tutoring services and the weekly presence of a dedicated reading specialist.
• Behavioral Assistance: Children can receive assistance with challenging behavior while at our facility through relationships with members of COSA.
• Community Engagement: We plan special events specifically to promote socialization and family participation.

Our strong community ties allow us to maximize the support we offer:

• Educational Resources: We partner with Crozer Library for educational support and events and Dickerson & Associates and CCPN for educational supplies and staff trainings.
• Targeted Support Services: Morris Educational Services provides tutoring, special education guidance, child testing, and evaluations.
• Volunteer & Mentorship: C.O.S.A. volunteers offer crucial literacy, academic, and emotional support.
• Career Preparation: The Chester Education Foundation helps students close to graduating high school by providing work experiences for career exploration.
• Food Supplies: We receive support from Laurence and Patricia Hamm for food supplies.
